I've been following along with the Congressional hearing about Benghazi (my friends Diplopundit and Skeptical Bureaucrat are, of course, doing a great job of summarizing what's going down on that front), and the latest news out today has me thinking that there might soon be a very descriptive new verb added to DS lingo:
~ ~ ~
Nordstrom, \nord-struhm\, verb;
1.) To document your position so effectively and completely that, in the event of a very public Congressional hearing, if there are rear ends left flapping about in the breeze at the end of it, yours sure isn't one of them.
Examples of Usage:
- "...So I made sure I Nordstromed the hell out of it..."
- "...And I told them that I would be Nordstroming that up one side and down the other, just so we were all clear on where I stood..."
is it wrong of me to find your post amusing?

Nordstrom blew the bureaucrats out of the water! I thought Kucinich was great to in saying "Baghdad and Pakistan sucked up all the $$$" and "stop overthrowing governments and the diplomats will be welcome." gwb

How funny would it be if we all Cc:'d Nordstrom on all of the cables where we find ourselves Nordstroming?
